ABOUT US

Lead Osteopathy is a family-friendly clinic, passionate about bringing allied health care to the Adelaide Hills and surrounds.

Our qualified osteopaths aim to provide a service that optimises you and your family’s health, understands your pain, and gets you moving and feeling better.

Our registered osteopaths can help with a vast range of conditions and complaints associated with the musculoskeletal system.

WHAT IS OSTEOPATHY?

Osteopaths are registered primary allied health practitioners. Using manual therapy techniques, we assess, diagnose, treat and manage pain and dysfunction in the body with a holistic approach

Osteopathic management of the musculoskeletal system considers the complex systems that control our muscles, joints, nerves, organs and connective tissues to achieve positive change and help you live a healthier life.

“leading you to better health”

  • DR JESS WRIGHT - osteopath

Jess attended RMIT university in Victoria to complete her qualifications in osteopathy. Having spent many of her childhood years exploring and loving Stirling, Aldgate, Crafers, Bridgewater Mylor, Nairne, Hahndorf and Mt Barker she enjoys spending her free time enjoying local coffee shops, gardening, and raising her young family in the Hills.

She is an involved local community member and an active volunteer firefighter with the CFS. Jess is passionate about connecting with and supporting her local community.

Jess has a passion for bringing holistic and educational care to her work. She focusses heavily on helping people understand their pain and aims to work with them both in the treatment room and through lifestyle support to facilitate lasting change.

In the treatment room, Jess utilises a range of osteopathic treatment techniques including massage, stretching, joint mobilisation and manipulation where appropriate, dry needling, cupping, and exercise prescription.

  • Dr COURTNAY WOOD - osteopath

Courtnay studied at RMIT University in Victoria and has been practicing in Adelaide for several years.

She enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions — everything! From sports injuries and pregnancy-related discomfort to head, neck, and jaw pain, lower back issues, everyday office aches, and even complex or unusual presentations (she loves a challenge).

Courtnay brings a comprehensive approach to care. Her treatment style includes both direct and indirect techniques, tailored to suit each individual's needs. She is guided by the first principle of osteopathy — ‘the body is a whole’ — and uses this as the foundation for her treatment and management strategies.

Outside the clinic, you'll often find Courtnay enjoying Adelaide’s beautiful beaches and café culture. She’s always up for a good book or TV show recommendation and is known for being just a little too chatty (in the best way!).
